If I were going to tattoo myself, I might. I do love my tea.
However, I fear needles with a passion, so no tats for me. Plus, it would never be exactly right. There would be some little flaw in it and that would bother me all the time. :)
I'm thinking about getting a teapot tattoo myself. It would be in memory of my grandmother. As a child I would always make her tea when she visited. It's not the image you choose to tattoo on yourself, its the meaning of the tattoo that is important. Why is a teapot so horrible when you see people walking around with all kinds of crap on thier skin. Judge not.
I'm planning on getting a teapot tattooed on myself. I will incorporate it into a large piece of art though - but the teapot will be a feature. I will, however, not get a clip art image tattooed on me like this person has done. It's a terrible image! I can fully appreciate getting images of meaningful items tattooed on your arm, but for goodness sake at least go to a bit of effort to find a decent representation of the item.
I could well get myself a teapot tattoo to symbolize my beliefs and view of universe. A teapot orbiting the earth was an example used by Bertnard Russel (later it received more attention by Richard Dawkins) to "refute the idea that the burden of proof lies upon the sceptic to disprove unfalsifiable claims of religions." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot
I have a tattoo of a tea pot, and it looks basically exactly like that. I can say I know where that picture came from. Mine does not have the tea cup next to it, and mine is about the size of a 20c piece and under my knickers, so no one sees it. Mine looks better!! :)
This one too is actually a good example about the thing I just hate in this blog. A well done tattoo, nothing wrong with it, you just don't get "why", or don't like the idea itself, so you consider it horrible. How about asking that person why instead of slamming it by your ignorance and lack of imagination. You agree it's not a horrible tattoo? Then what the hell is it doing in Horibble tattoos blog?!
I love tea and am considering a tea themed tattoo, but I would certainly not have a tea bag as part of it! Puhleez! Have some class... loose full leaf *only*!
I actually know the person that has that tattoo, and apparently she got it done, when she went to Camden and wore a dress with a teapot print, I think that is a good enough reason to get a tattoo for life.

That one isn't bad at all.
I know it's not bad, but would you tattoo yourself a teapot ?

is that 90's microsoft word clipart?
I like the teapot tattoo. Why not? be different. It could be a little smaller but it is nice. Tea is in- it is healthy!
I'm going to get a huge full colour tattoo of a teapot across my face, I think that'd get the message across nicely.
The teapot is an interesting motif... I think I'd be okay with it if it wasn't on a bicep. it's a weird place to be all excited about tea
I didnt understand...its not ugly,I think...

Everything you love in life is cheap and tawdry and laughable.
You like things that aren't certified officially awesome.
So, your arbitration of taste is suspect, and your opinions are void of worth.
