It's a [very] stylized sparrow with a lotus flower. Yet another oriental inspired tattoo on a white chick with no real meaning behind it. I've inked [former tattoo artist] a few close to that I'm sorry to say.

He just brought in a picture of a bird or something, but the artist was on some heavy hallucinogens when he saw the design.
The artist, however, proceeded to display amazing manual discipline and focus on his work, and actually had the zen-like skill to perfectly reproduce what he was seeing in his altered state.
Kudos if that's the case. I feel like I'm on something just looking at it. Trippy.

HAHAHA I had a lighter with this exact design on it and it took me about a month to figure out what the fuck it was.
this design is definitely on a bic lighter.
