This is a good example about what I don't like in this blog - perfectly well done tattoos that are seemingly exactly what they are supposed to be, you just don't like the concept of the tattoo or their placements. You tend to attack the idea, not the execution. It's like judging Mona Lisa as garbage for thinking the chick looks ugly, like she should have blonde hair or something. And it's completely your own opinion based on.. nothing more than your own personal taste that you now so boldly push on those who read this blog.
I wouldn't wear most of the pictures that I've seen, not even the ones I actually find pretty, but that doesn't make them necessarily ugly or horrible to me. I also wouldn't question the intellect of the person taking such a tattoo, I'm sure they have their reasons to do what they do, and some of them explain their reasons. Who are we to judge?
However what I do find horrible is horrible execution of tattoos, shaky lines when they should be straight, colors messed up, pictures drawn completly without any talent... Those are horrible tattoos pretty much for anyone, it's not just a matter of taste.
I think it's awesome! From an aesthetic perspective the only gripe I have is the proportions of the cats' heads ... they seem to expand toward the center. Given it looks well done I wonder if they did it on purpose, but I can't imagine why.
@idhren...I think you may be missing the point of the blog, or you simply don't agree. that's fine, if you find "body art" in such high regard, although the Mona Lisa analogy may be a bit much. But I feel the point of this blog is more along the lines of "can you believe someone liked this so much as to put it on thier body?" Not "the technique is awful".
Make your own pretentious boday art blog, not like there aren't enough of those.
You shouldn't publish very poor quality pics or unfinished tattoos!! This one is my tattoo and I could hardly recognize it! It's too easy, don't you think?
People may dislike the design, I have nothing against it. But the artist, Boris from Hungary, is one of the best in the world. Anybody who is into tattoo knows it. I imagine that it's not your case, as you only concentrate on poor quality.
Anyway, here is the final result : http://img517.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc01559us4.jpg
The finished product is nicely done, but the flying cats make me laugh so hard, I could never take this person seriously. And hahaha at Idhren's butthurt over someone's OPINION. Get over it.
Yeah, the technique is nice, but why the wings ? It's like the usual unicorn/fairy/mermaid, it stands just above the lone wolf under the moon in the awkwardness scale. It's not even a matter of taking you seriously, it's about not showing the poorest side of your imagination.
wow, the "finished" version is even scarier..... I am sorry, do you really love your cats so much as to wear them forEVER ?!?!?! kids, mother, family, woman you love, I can see, but CATS ?!?!?!?
it is a wonderfully executed idea. Cat's in a heaven-like scenario. If everyone in the world gets the same damn back, piece what's the fun in that... It's a shame people feel compelled to be so rude to this person, for no reason. Although most of the tats in this blog are technically horrible, this one is top notch. The idea, is original and uplifting.

I belong to those who find this one quite nice, though the colors look a bit too flashy.
Oh, please, this is a good one. You're just prejudiced against flying cats.

lol no idhren.. this is just plain awful.
sure it's good, but on a PERSON? maybe the artist should rethink his canvas...

I love this tattoo! I bet that it is a tat of her two cats that passed and she wanted to put them on her as homage.

My cat just died, guess I should get her tattooed on my back. Ugh!
Fantastic. Sorry.
It's fucking horrible
Delphiva, i looked at the finished tat. If anyone knew their kitties, they might understand those are Rex cats, correct? Or Sphinx perhaps?
Nice tushie too...:)

Wow I give up on correcting your spelling mistakes. CONSIDER!!!! Either your fat fingering your keyboard or you need to use spellcheck.
